- [Sg] Heap: the per-slot derive compute uses PERSISTENT `CompileCompute` programs (recompiled only when the dispatch count changes) instead of a per-frame `runtime.Run` that rebuilt + submitted + fence-waited a throwaway command buffer — on a camera orbit (composeDerived re-runs each frame) this halved the per-frame CPU overhead.
- [Sg] Heap: the chainMode Model fold is re-dispatched ONLY when the chain structure or a link value changed (a `GrowChainLinks.Generation` counter), never on a pure camera move — the fold output is camera-independent, so an orbit skips it entirely.
