Release Notes

  • fix using correct NuGet API call to get the info about latest version
  • fix (and enhance) the versions comparison with semantic comparison and then fall back with kind of number comparison preceding string comparison

The previous releases are not working correctly any more (not showing any outdates) because dependend on a incorectly chosen NuGet API). The current versions uses different NuGet API, which seems to me much more reliable.

to uninstall the previous version, please run the: dotnet tool uninstall -g dotnet-tools-outdated
