Xbim.Geometry.GeomService.Client

Provides a client API to run IFC geometry generation in an isolated, crash-proof child process.

The underlying geometry engine (Xbim.Geometry.Engine) invokes native C++ OpenCascade code which, under certain corrupt or highly complex IFC files, can crash with unmanaged memory exceptions (such as Access Violations). Spawning the meshing task in a separate process via Xbim.Geometry.GeomService ensures that any native crash does not result in the crash of the parent application process.
