Introduction

The VeeFriends Characters project is designed to manage and interact with character data related to the VeeFriends series. This project includes classes representing different series of VeeFriends characters, specifically Series1, Series2, and a combined Series1And2.

Usage

Manifest

The Manifest class provides functionalities specific to all collections within the VeeFriends Universe.

Example usage:

Why This Project is Useful

This project simplifies the management and interaction with VeeFriends characters, making it easier for developers to integrate VeeFriends character data into their applications. It provides a structured and straightforward approach to access character details across different series.

Manifest workflow credentials

The indexer fetches character pages without WikiImporter service credentials. Social-share image uploads require CLOUDINARY_CLOUD_NAME, CLOUDINARY_API_KEY, and CLOUDINARY_API_SECRET in its environment. Configure those three repository Actions secrets with rotated credentials before merging changes that run the scheduled Update VeeFriends Manifests workflow. For local runs, set the same variables in your shell; do not commit their values.

The indexer depends on WikiImporter 5.3 for its remaining model and utility references. Publish WikiImporter #78 before merging this dependency upgrade. The indexer does not register WikiImporter services and does not need Tigris credentials. Its Semantic Kernel reference is aligned with WikiImporter 5.3 to avoid a package downgrade during restore.
