ThinkGeo.NauticalCharts

ThinkGeo.NauticalCharts is a layer extension to ThinkGeo.Core that reads IHO S-57 Electronic Navigational Charts (.000 / ENC) and renders them with the S-52 presentation library - the international standard used by NOAA, hydrographic offices, and ECDIS systems.

Overview

Capabilities:

  • Read S-57 ENC files (S-57 v3.1 international exchange format).
  • Render with the S-52 presentation library (day / dusk / night palettes, paper / simplified / traditional symbology, depth contour shading).
  • Compose with other ThinkGeo layers (Shapefile, GeoTIFF, web tiles) on a single map.

Targets: .NET Framework 4.6.2+ and .NET Standard 2.1 (covers .NET Core 3.1, .NET 5 / 6 / 7 / 8 / 9). Pure managed code; no native dependencies. Platforms: Windows, Linux, macOS.
