- breaking change: introduced new optional parameters to TryCreateDatabaseAsync, TryDropDatabaseAsync, DropAndCreateDatabaseAsync. These methods now perform retries when they cannot be executed successfully (up to 3 times, 750ms delay between retries).
- breaking change: the DatabaseName structure now allows non-standard names that must be escaped with brackets. Use DatabaseName.Identifier to get the escaped name, the normal ToString method returns the raw database name.
- new feature: added DetachDatabaseAsync and AttachDatabaseAsync
