Yahoo Finance Historical Data Connector

The Yahoo Finance Historical Data connector brings downloadable Yahoo Finance series into StockSharp. It converts instrument metadata, price history, and corporate-action events into the unified StockSharp message model.

Key capabilities

  • Symbol lookup with exchange, currency, precision, and first-trade metadata.
  • Historical daily, weekly, and monthly OHLCV candles.
  • Dividend and stock-split events represented as Level 1 changes.
  • Date-range requests for charting, analysis, and backtesting.
  • This adapter is intended for historical market data and does not route orders.
  • Provider-specific responses and identifiers are hidden behind the standard StockSharp API.

Use this connector for end-of-day charts, adjusted-series workflows, research, and longer-horizon strategy testing.

Available symbols, dates, corporate actions, and interval coverage depend on the data returned by Yahoo Finance.
