Revit.Async

All Revit plugins share the same AppDomain, allowing version 1.x and 2.x to be loaded into the same context by different plugins. However, this may lead to compatibility issues due to incompatible APIs between the two versions. It is recommended to use version 2.x, as it has fixed critical errors. The only necessary change is in how you initialize RevitTask, as the other APIs are fully compatible.
