Original Primitive Proxy Readme:
This application is specifically designed for the case where a user is only able to access source code resources on a secure VPN, and the user is using a standalone VR headset. The scheme is as follows:
- User connects their standalone VR headset to PC via USB
- User runs this application on their PC with the following parameters:
- Scraper Host: destination for scraper assets as installed on their network via docker
- Authentication: credentials that will allow user to make raw source requests to repo hosting service
- Serial port info (TBD)
- User launches Primitive on the standalone VR headset
- Primitive is configured to run in a Serial Port mode, so it prompts user to select the appropriate port (TBD)
- Primitive (running on the standalone VR headset) sends both HTTP and WebSocket web requests in the form of a request string to this Proxy application (running on the VPN connected PC), and this application returns the responses over the serial port.
