Oakrey.Network.Ssdp

Overview

The "Ssdp" project is a .NET 8 library that provides functionality for discovering and monitoring devices using the Simple Service Discovery Protocol (SSDP). It leverages reactive programming to notify subscribers about device availability and status changes in real-time.

Features

Device Discovery:

The SsdpNotifier class uses the SsdpDeviceLocator to discover devices on the network. Supports filtering devices based on custom criteria using a Func<DeviceInfo, bool>.

Reactive Notifications:

Implements IObservable<DeviceInfo> to notify subscribers about device availability and unavailability. Provides real-time updates on device status changes (e.g., "Alive" or "ByeBye").

Device Information:

The DeviceInfo class encapsulates detailed information about discovered devices, such as UUID, model name, manufacturer, and description location.

Concurrency Management:

Uses a SemaphoreSlim to ensure thread-safe operations during device discovery and status updates.

Integration with Rssdp:

Leverages the Rssdp library for SSDP operations, including device discovery and notification handling.

Extensibility:

Allows customization of device discovery behavior through filters and supports single-event notifications for devices.

Installation
