Nova.Sessions.AspNetCore

ASP.NET Core middleware and services for activating, validating, and controlling Nova sessions.

Version 10.1.4

  • Prevented simultaneous requests for the same user and system from creating duplicate sessions within one application process.
  • Added transaction-owned SQL Server application locking so session creation is coordinated across load-balanced application servers.
  • Rechecks for an existing session after acquiring the distributed lock, allowing concurrent requests to reuse the session created by the first request.
  • Serialized shared customer initialization to avoid duplicate initialization requests.
  • Normalizes IPv4-mapped addresses to IPv4 and maps local ::1 to 127.0.0.1.
  • Preserves genuine IPv6 client addresses forwarded by a trusted proxy or received directly.

This release requires compatible versions of Nova.Sessions.Abstractions and Nova.Sessions.Data.Sql containing the distributed-lock contract and SQL Server implementation.
