Windows Azure Caching is a distributed, in-memory cache that can be set up in your Windows Azure deployment on web or worker roles.  Caching increases performance by allowing you to store commonly accessed data in memory and reduces load on backend databases.  Windows Azure Caching Memcache Shim is a translation layer that enables you to easily communicate with a Windows Azure Caching cluster deployed on your web or worker roles using the memcache protocol.
This NuGet package can only be used with the Windows Azure October 2012 SDK version of Windows Azure Caching.
