PST .NET is a Microsoft Outlook .pst file library for .NET. It lets you create new Outlook .pst files from scratch, open and edit existing .pst files, and read or export messages, appointments, contacts, tasks and other items as .msg or .eml files from any .pst file. You can browse the full folder hierarchy, add, modify and delete folders, items and attachments, save attachments, import .msg files or items from another .pst file, and search mailbox content programmatically. Both the Microsoft Outlook .pst and .ost file formats are supported. The library is written in 100% managed code and does not require Microsoft Outlook to be installed on the machine or any other third party application or library in order to work.
