Activation of ILNumerics developer seats.

!! Important Note !! ILNumerics license activations are permanent. Once activated a developer seat cannot be "deactivated" nor "moved" to another computer.

This activation tool can be installed by a dotnet CLI as a dotnet tool. It is used to activate your developer seat. During activation you must present your personal email address and the license key you have received from ILNumerics. The activation binds the license key to your current computer OS account and enables working with all ILNumerics modules licensed during the subscription timespan of your license. Usage:

1. Installing the tool locally, using the dotnet CLI (here: on a bash prompt)

dotnet tool install ILNumerics.License.Activation --tool-path [path]

Example:

dotnet tool install ILNumerics.License.Activation --tool-path ./ila

This command installs the tool in the sub-directory 'ila' below the current directory.

2. Using the tool for activating your developer seat (bash)

ila/ilnumerics-activate [your@email.com] [license key (GUID)] [|machineKey]

Example:

ila/ilnumerics-activate myemail@somewhere.com 00A939AD-794A-444B-A4A7-8303E10BE686

By omitting the machine key (last argument) your credentials are used to activate the current computer OS account.
