HtmlForgeX.CodeGlyphX

The optional bridge renders QR codes and linear barcodes as inline SVG using CodeGlyphX. Encoding happens in .NET; codes need no browser script or network access. HtmlForgeX core keeps its dependency boundary.

using HtmlForgeX;
using CodeGlyphX;

document.Body.CodeGlyphXQRCode("https://example.com/report", s => s
    .Size(240).ErrorCorrection(QrErrorCorrectionLevel.H)
    .AccessibleLabel("Open the report").Caption("Scan to open the report").End());
document.Body.CodeGlyphXBarcode(BarcodeType.Code128, "ASSET-1042", s => s
    .Size(320, 100).Caption("ASSET-1042").End());

Codes render dark on light in every theme by default (CodeGlyphXColor.Ink on White), because many scanners cannot read inverted codes; only the surrounding card follows the theme. Use Colors(CodeGlyphXColor.Black, CodeGlyphXColor.White) for maximum contrast, or Colors(CodeGlyphXColor.Text, CodeGlyphXColor.Surface) to follow the theme where inverted codes are acceptable. Printed figures use black on white. Captions are optional and treated as text; every SVG has an accessible name.

Existing callers can opt in with document.Body.QRCode(payload).UseCodeGlyphX(). Configure the renderer before the document is first rendered. Unchanged EasyQRCode calls retain their browser renderer.

Fixed colours use literal SVG attributes; tokens include light-palette fallbacks for static SVG readers. An email client or PDF renderer must support inline SVG. Clients that strip SVG still need a raster image attachment. See the component reference and migration guide.
