Free Spire.XLS for .NET is a Community Edition of Spire.XLS for .NET, which is a totally free Excel API for commercial and personal use. As a standalone .NET library, it enables developers to create, manipulate and convert Excel files on any .NET(C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, .NET Core) applications without depending on Microsoft Office.

Free Spire.XLS for .NET supports both the old Excel 97-2003 format (.xls) and the new Excel 2007, Excel 2010, Excel 2013, Excel 2016 and Excel 2019 (.xlsx, .xlsm).

Friendly Reminder: Free version is limited to 5 sheets per workbook and 200 rows per sheet. This limitation is enforced during reading or writing XLS files. From Free Spire.XLS v7.8, there is no any limitation when loading and saving .xlsx file format. When converting Excel files to other formats, such as PDF/XPS/Images, you can only get the first 3 pages of PDF/XPS/Images.
