FluxFlow.Components.Sessions.Composition

Optional FluxFlow.Composition registration helpers for the standalone session recorder, replay, and query nodes from FluxFlow.Components.Sessions.

This package does not scan assemblies, register concrete stores, own retention policy, or configure persistence. Hosts register session node factories explicitly and provide either a keyed ISessionStore or a keyed ISessionStoreFactory; they may also provide an optional keyed TimeProvider.

Each factory exposes Events and Errors. store is a required keyed ISessionStore or ISessionStoreFactory resource. Direct stores remain host-owned. Factory leases are opened during composition build and disposed with the composed node. clock is an optional keyed TimeProvider resource for deterministic result, event, error, and replay timing.

The adapter binds the existing session option records from node configuration. The Store option remains configuration metadata; the composition adapter resolves the concrete ISessionStore or ISessionStoreFactory from the store resource. Invalid option values fail during composition build through the node factory. If build failures are configured as diagnostics, the runtime is not created and the host receives a FactoryFailed diagnostic with the relevant option name.

Design Metadata

SessionsComponentDesignMetadataProvider exposes neutral Designer metadata for session.recorder, session.replay, and session.query so hosts can build palettes, editors, validation hints, or documentation without copying package descriptors. The metadata describes the existing session option records with section, importance, and editor hints; fixed ports; and resource picker hints with key patterns for the required store and optional clock resources. Concrete ISessionStore instances, ISessionStoreFactory registrations, and optional keyed TimeProvider clocks remain host-owned resources and are not modeled as editable node options; the store option remains only diagnostic/config metadata. The provider authors that metadata through the shared validated Designer metadata builder.
