Fluens.Web.Healthchecks

ASP.NET Core health-checks registration helpers with a configurable, DI-discoverable health-endpoint path for Fluens web applications.

Usage

app.MapFluensHealthchecks();

AddHealthchecks() registers ASP.NET Core health checks and publishes the configured path through IHealthEndpointInfo (from Fluens.Web), so other libraries — for example service discovery — can read the health path from DI without depending on this package.

AddHealthchecks()'s Action<HealthchecksOptions>? callback is honoured and validated even with no matching Fluens:Web:Healthchecks configuration section present.

When Enabled is false, AddHealthchecks() registers nothing and MapFluensHealthchecks() maps nothing.

MapFluensHealthchecks() maps the endpoint with a fixed status code table:

HealthStatus HTTP status
Healthy 200
Degraded 429
Unhealthy 503

Consul reads an HTTP check answering 429 as warning (200 as passing, any other status as critical), so a Degraded instance shows up as a warning in the catalog instead of passing.
