Extension Development

Draw & GO is developed using microkernel architecture.

The abstract class MacroCommand is located in DrawGo.Plugin.Base library.

You can create extensions for any platform (Android, MacCatalyst, Windows, Tizen, Web).

Because of iOS limitation, there is no reason to create extension for iOS.

Draw & GO for iOS uses embedded extension (Not loaded dynamically).

Extension example

  1. Create .NET library project with the name ends with Extensions, set Target Framework net8.0.
  2. Install NuGet package DrawGo.Plugin.Base.
  3. Install NuGet package DrawGo.Plugin.MSBuild.
  4. Create new class derived from DrawGo.Plugin.Base.MacroCommand.
  5. Add DrawGo.Plugin.Base.Attributes.ExportAttribute: [Export(Name = "YOUR MacroCommand name", Category = "Desired category", Description = "Macro Command description", Platform = MacroPlatform.All)].
  6. For all input/output properties add DrawGo.Plugin.Base.Attributes.FieldAttributesAttribute: [FieldAttributes(Name = "MyProperty", Type = DataType.Number)].
  7. Build NuGet package.
There are no supported framework assets in this package.
