DevExpress.Win.SpellChecker NuGet Package

Contains classes related to the DevExpress WinForms Spell Check Control. This control ships with ISpell and OpenOffice dictionary support so you can integrate Microsoft Office-inspired spell checking functionality into your next Windows project with ease.

  • Customizable spell checking dialogs.

  • Spelling options dialog: from general options such as "ignore uppercase" to editing custom dictionary entries and language selection.

  • Spell checker context menu: you can add custom context menu items (correction suggestions and more) for simple error correction without the need to invoke a dialog.

  • Check-as-you-type mode: errors can be underlined using wavy red lines. The control automatically checks spelling as you type, word by word, in a separate thread without affecting UI responsiveness.

  • Build custom dictionaries in plain text or in the following ready-to-use dictionary formats: ISpell, OpenOffice, and Hunspell.

  • Shared dictionaries: maintain a single custom dictionary for all spell checker controls in your project to avoid time-consuming dictionary loading operations.
