DapperHelpers

Introduction

PROBLEM

As one old DBA once said, there are two types of projects: the first type on which ORM is still used and the second one, on which they already understood that we need to write pure SQL because no existing ORM gives them performance like SQL.

This is one side, and the second is that no ORM implements all the features of a particular database implementation.

DECISION

To write pure SQL inside the project or to poke hanimy procedures. Procedures are not our way, but with SQL inside the code you can try, but its support will affect the development time, how to make SQL in our project be as supported and refactoring flexible like the rest of the code?

TARGET

Write SQL inside the code and not worry about the problems associated with its support.

Here is a set of extensions for Dappera, which allows you to safely write SQL inside your project, this SQL will be typed just like any other code, and when refactoring you won’t have to look for everything using the field name in all SQL queries, this extension will do everything for you, the main thing is to take care in advance and prepare everything.
