Box.Async.Concurrency
Box.Async.Concurrency is a simple and useful concurrency library for .NET that provides lightweight asynchronous threads (similar to goroutines) and channel-based communication. It simplifies asynchronous programming with Go-like routine, channel, and select constructs, without the hassle of task and channel details.
With Box.Async.Concurrency, you can:
- Run lightweight asynchronous routines (DotRoutine) without dealing with Tasks or threads directly
- Create and manage channels (DotChannel<T>) for safe, asynchronous message passing
- Coordinate multiple routines using a DotSelect-style mechanism to handle the first completed action
- Easily implement producer-consumer patterns, pipelines, or other concurrent workflows
- Use a simple, strongly-typed, and easy-to-use package to write Go-like concurrency patterns in .NET
Installation
You can install the package via NuGet:
dotnet add package Box.Async.Concurrency
