BinaryLibs.Clients.Saxo

Purpose

Typed REST access to Saxo Bank OpenAPI for reference data, ENS, portfolio, and trading workflows.

Available API endpoints

  • Ens accesses corporate actions.
  • Portfolio accesses accounts, balances, positions, open orders, and trial-account reset.
  • ReferenceData accesses exchanges, instruments, instrument details, and trading sessions.
  • Trading checks, creates, and cancels orders and retrieves price information.
  • SaxoClient also exposes session capability and trade-message workflows.

The simulation host is https://gateway.saxobank.com/sim/openapi; the live host is https://gateway.saxobank.com/openapi.

Agent guidance

Use SaxoClient.CreateDemo with a demo bearer token for simulation, or AuthorizeInBrowser followed by Create for OAuth authorization. Choose simulation with sim: true; the default for Create is live. The client applies a fixed 1.1 second request interval, follows pagination internally, and sends the bearer token on authenticated requests. Call EnsureCapabilities before workflows that require full trading capability, and ClearMessages to acknowledge trade messages.
