Benevia.Core.Events.DataTypes Summary

Benevia.Core.Events.DataTypes provides common property data types with built-in validation and auto-correct rules for use with the [Property<T>] attribute.

This package includes:

Data types such as Currency, UnitPrice, Percent, MultiLineText, and Email
Source-generated data annotations applied from [Property<T>] declarations
AutoCorrect and Validate event subscribers registered automatically at startup

Percent stores fractions with five decimal places. The API and editors use percentage points: send 6.25 to store 0.06250. The default P2 format displays 6.25% with two decimal places. API conversion preserves the stored precision: 6.125 stores 0.06125 and returns 6.125. Display formatting does not change the value. The server converts API values and queries. Server entity values remain fractions for business calculations. Numeric filters, saved filters, and API aggregates use percentage points. Percent form editors support standard P, N, and F formats; custom formats are rejected. Percent imposes no range limits.
