Getting Started

Installation

Install the BFrameworkWebControls NuGet package.

Important

After installing the package, build the project once. During the build, the framework automatically copies the required JavaScript and CSS files into the project's wwwroot folder.

Generated files

After the first build the following files will be available:

Add the following references to App.razor:

Updating the template assets

The package refreshes its managed files in wwwroot/Scripts/BArts, wwwroot/Css/BArts and wwwroot/Css/Source/WebControls during the build. It does not overwrite wwwroot/BSystem/CSS or the application's theme folders.

The B-Arts application template loads its framework styles from wwwroot/BSystem/CSS. After updating this package, review and copy BFramework-min.css and BFrameworkWebControls-min.css from wwwroot/Css/BArts to wwwroot/BSystem/CSS when you are ready to update the template's styles. Preserve any application-specific changes before replacing those copies. Use either the template's stylesheet references or the direct references above; do not load both copies of the same bundle.

Icons are supplied by the application's theme. The B-Arts template defines its shared SVG icon classes in wwwroot/BThemes/tmShared/04_Icons.css and stores the corresponding SVG files in that theme's IconSVG folder. Those template files are maintained separately and are not installed or overwritten by this package.

Render Mode

Pages using B-Arts Web Controls must use:

@rendermode InteractiveServer

or be hosted inside an InteractiveServer application.

Notes

The Css/Source/WebControls folder contains the original CSS files and can be used to customize the appearance of the controls if needed.
