GliderMCP End User License Agreement

This agreement is between you and Bogdan Novosad (the "Licensor"). It
covers the GliderMCP software product that this file accompanies (the
"Software"). The GliderMCP products are glider, glider-trace, tglider,
and scout. If you install or use the Software, you accept this
agreement.

1. FREE LICENSE

The Licensor grants you a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable license
to use the Software:

  a) for your personal use as an individual;
  b) for work on open-source projects;
  c) for evaluation of the Software, including evaluation inside an
     organization for up to 30 days;
  d) for education and for non-commercial research.

The free license has no time limit for individuals and includes full
functionality. It does not require a license key.

2. COMMERCIAL LICENSE

Commercial use is use of the Software in or for the work of a for-profit
organization, beyond the evaluation described in section 1(c).
Commercial use requires a valid paid license from the Licensor. The
products, the number of developers, and the term that a paid license
covers are specified by the applicable order or plan. Plans are
published at https://glidermcp.com.

Early-availability period: until the Licensor offers paid plans for
purchase at https://glidermcp.com, commercial use beyond the evaluation
period is permitted free of charge under this agreement.

3. RELEASE VALIDITY WINDOW

Each released version of the Software has a limited validity window and
does not start after that window ends. Continued use requires an update
to a current release. Updates are free of charge for free-license use.
This window exists so that old releases with known defects retire; it
does not limit the duration of the license grants above.

4. PRIVACY

The Software analyzes your code locally and never transmits your source
files or the contents of your workspace to the Licensor. License
validation and optional telemetry transmit only license, installation,
and usage metadata. Crash reports keep code identifiers (namespace,
type, and method names) only for stack frames that match product and
platform namespaces; all other frames are removed. The Software
continues to function without network connectivity.

5. RESTRICTIONS

You may not:

  a) redistribute, sublicense, sell, or rent the Software;
  b) offer the Software to third parties as a hosted or managed
     service;
  c) remove or alter copyright or license notices;
  d) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software, except
     to the extent that applicable law permits this despite this
     limitation.

6. TERMINATION

This license terminates automatically if you breach this agreement.
On termination you must stop using the Software. Sections 4, 7, 8,
and 9 survive termination.

7. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS
OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF
MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND
NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE LICENSOR MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES
REGARDING THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR SUITABILITY OF THE SOFTWARE
FOR ANY PURPOSE.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL
THE LICENSOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL,
EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR OTHER DAMAGES (INCLUDING, BUT
NOT LIMITED TO, PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS OR SERVICES; LOSS OF
USE, DATA, OR PROFITS; OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION) ARISING OUT OF OR IN
ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE,
EVEN IF THE LICENSOR HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH
DAMAGES. NOTHING IN THIS AGREEMENT EXCLUDES LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE
EXCLUDED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.

9. GOVERNING LAW

This agreement is governed by the laws of Spain. The courts of Spain
have jurisdiction over disputes that arise from this agreement. If you
are a consumer, the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country
of residence remain unaffected.

10. CHANGES TO THIS AGREEMENT

The terms that apply to you are the terms distributed with the version
of the Software that you use. New terms apply from the first version
that ships with them.
