Webority.Security
Shared security and identity packages for Webority products: authentication, multi-factor (TOTP, OTP, recovery codes, passkeys), JWT issuance with hashed refresh tokens and revocation, permission-based authorization, and ASP.NET Core perimeter hardening.
Designed to plug into an application's existing data model: the packages own no entities
and no tables. A host's own entities implement small capability interfaces, and the
EntityFrameworkCore package binds generically to the host's DbContext.
services.AddWeboritySecurity(config.GetSection("Security"))
.DirectlyExposed() // or .BehindProxy(...)
.AddRealm<CustomerUser>("Customer", r => r
.WithEmailLogin()
.UseBearer()
.WithTotp()
.WithPasskeys());
Maturity
Password, JWT, cookie and API-key authentication are exercised by adopting products.
SAML and passkeys (WebAuthn) are validated against test vectors only. Neither has completed a live exchange with a real identity provider (Entra ID, Okta, ADFS) or a physical authenticator. The implementations are complete and tested, but the first real exchange is where protocol implementations most commonly disagree — the SAML redirect-binding query signature above all. Treat both as unproven until that has happened.
Proprietary — for use within Webority Technologies products.

Webority.Security.Core
Provider-neutral security primitives for Webority products: multi-format PBKDF2 password hashing with rehash-on-verify, RFC 6238 TOTP, recovery codes, purpose-scoped tokens, lockout policy, and phone number parsing. No ASP.NET, EF, or vendor dependency. |
|
|
Webority.Security.Jwt
JWT issuance, validation, refresh-token rotation and revocation for Webority products. HS256 with strict validation, hashed refresh tokens, per-installation sessions, and reuse detection. |
|
|
Webority.Security.AspNetCore
ASP.NET Core integration for Webority.Security: realm-generic registration, cookie and JWT schemes, sign-in orchestration, permission authorization, security headers, Cloudflare-cache-safe antiforgery, public-form protection with captcha, and rate-limit presets. Razor websites add Webority.Security.Razor for the browser half of public forms. |
|
|
Webority.Security.WebAuthn
WebAuthn/FIDO2 passkey registration and authentication for Webority products — platform biometrics, OS PIN, and roaming security keys, usable as a primary factor or a second factor. |
|
|
Webority.Security.EntityFrameworkCore
Generic EF Core store implementations for Webority.Security that bind to a host's own DbContext and entity types. Defines no entities and no tables. |
