Webority.Delivery

Versioned links to a product's authored static assets: the files listed under the static deployable in the repo's .webority/infra/deployables.json and stored on Cloudflare R2. From any .NET host, IAuthoredAssets.Url("<key>") returns the authored origin, the key and ?v= with the first 12 hex characters of the file's sha256.

Host without pages (Azure Functions, a worker)

Opt in with the build property and reference the package. The build copies the repo's .webority/infra/deployables.json (its static deployable carries the list) beside the assemblies and into the publish folder:

<PropertyGroup>
  <WeborityStaticAssets>true</WeborityStaticAssets>
</PropertyGroup>

<ItemGroup>
  <PackageReference Include="Webority.Delivery" />
</ItemGroup>

Register the link in the host:

services.AddWeborityStaticAssets();

Set the authored origin in configuration:

"StaticAssets": { "AuthoredOrigin": "https://static.example.com" }

Link a file from a Razor template:

@inject Webority.Delivery.IAuthoredAssets StaticAssets
<a href="@StaticAssets.Url("samples/report.pdf")" download>Sample report</a>
  • AuthoredOrigin must be an absolute https origin: https://host or https://host:port, with no path.
  • "/" and BuildOrigin stop startup. A host without pages does not serve the files itself, so "/" would name a file this host never serves.
  • Calling AddWeborityStaticAssets beside AddWeborityDelivery throws.
  • Link each file through StaticAssets.Url("<key>") in Razor, so cdn-guard counts it.
  • A web head uses Webority.Delivery.AspNetCore and IStaticAssets instead.

How a Webority web head ships its bytes and answers: Brotli-first response compression, static files with the fleet cache policy (versioned assets a year, never immutable), the Cloudflare edge-cache header middleware, the fleet API contract (RFC 9457 problem details for every error including the framework's own, the status and code table, ETag preconditions, retirement headers, idempotent POST and PATCH, the minimum app build announcement), an honest /health endpoint with database and data-protection checks, the paged list contract, and a build-time analyzer that keeps hand-written error bodies out with a shrink-only ceiling.
