UpgradeAssistant.Extension.CleanUp

.NET Upgrade Assistant extension for some clean up after a successful upgrade.

Overview

This extension is created by using Upgrade Assistants extension system.

This extension currently removes redundant NuGet packages added to projects by the Upgrade Assistant.

CleanUp is intended to be used after resolving all code breaking issues which might have occured upon using the UpgradeAssistant tool.

Note that upon adding this extension to Upgrade Assistant, the behavior of the tool already changes.

Usage

Prerequisites

An upgrade is successfully completed using the Upgrade Assistant tool.

Upgrade Path

NuGet can be added to the Upgrade Assistant via upgrade-assistant extensions add UpgradeAssistant.Extension.CleanUp. Upgrade Assistant running path will remain the same.

Extension can be removed via upgrade-assistant extensions remove UpgradeAssistant.Extension.CleanUp

Cloned repository can be added as an extension via adding --extension [path to dir containing ExtensionManifest and .dll file] to the Upgrade Assistants running path.
