Oakrey.Applications.Trace

The "Trace" project is a .NET 8 library designed to provide a robust framework for tracing application activities. It supports real-time tracing, configurable settings, and integration with telemetry and logging systems.

Tracing Framework:

TracerBase provides a base implementation for creating custom tracers. Supports real-time tracing with configurable file paths and naming policies.

Status Monitoring:

Tracks tracing status (Stopped, Running, Paused) using TracerStatus. Exposes status and trace time changes as observables for real-time monitoring.

Configurable Settings:

ITracerSettings allows customization of trace file paths, naming policies, and formats.

File Management:

Automatically manages trace files, including writing headers and appending trace lines. Integration with Telemetry and Logging: Integrated with Oakrey.Telemetry for tracing and Oakrey.Log for logging trace activities.

Installation

You can install the package via NuGet Package Manager, Package Manager Console or the .NET CLI.
