OSK.Messages.Couriers.EasyNetQ

Provides a courier that integrates with EasyNetQ (RabbitMQ) into the OSK.Messaging System

Usage

Callers simply need to add the messaging system to their DI chain and then use the AddEasyNetCourier extension in the library to add the courier. A default global default configuration must be specified and will be applied to all subscribers. In the event custom configuration is needed, it can be added via the options parameter of the AddEasyNetCourier method. If global and typed configurations are found, both will be applied, with the global applied first followed by the specific configuration for the type. The courier will automatically register all subscribers that are required to transmit messages for the messaging system to function.

Limitations

  • The current implementation does not handle retrying messages that fail to process. If a message fails to process, it will be lost. This is a known issue and will be addressed in a future release.
