Memoria licence
By accessing the Memoria source code or binaries, you are agreeing to the licensing terms below. If you do not agree to them, do not access or use Memoria.
Memoria is dual-licensed from version 2.0.0-beta onward. Every 2.x version — alpha, beta and release alike — is offered under either of the two licences below. You choose which one you use it under.
1. Reciprocal Public License 1.5
Your licence to the Memoria source code and binaries is governed by the Reciprocal Public License 1.5 (RPL-1.5), as described here:
https://opensource.org/license/rpl-1-5
The RPL is an open-source licence approved by the Open Source Initiative. In short, it lets you use, modify and distribute Memoria free of charge on condition that you release the source of the software you build with it under the same licence. Unlike most copyleft licences, that condition also applies to software you deploy for others to use without distributing it, such as a web application or a hosted service.
2. Memoria Commercial Licence
If you do not wish to release the source of the software you build with Memoria under the terms above, you may use the Memoria source code and binaries under the Memoria Commercial Licence, as described here:
https://lucabriguglia.github.io/Memoria/license.html
The Commercial Licence has four editions:
- Community — free of charge, and always will be, for companies and individuals with less than $5,000,000 USD in annual gross revenue, and for registered non-profits with less than $5,000,000 USD in annual total budget. Government or quasi-government agencies do not qualify, and neither does any organisation that has ever received more than $10,000,000 USD in capital from an outside source, such as private equity or venture capital. The full eligibility terms are at the link above.
- Standard, Professional and Enterprise — paid subscriptions for everyone else, scoped by the size of the organisation using Memoria: $299, $999 and $2,999 USD a year, or $29.90, $99.90 and $299.90 USD a month, half price while 2.0.0 is in beta. The details are at the link above.
Earlier versions
Memoria 1.x was released under the Apache License 2.0 and remains under it. A version is licensed under the terms it was released with; nothing in this file changes the licence of any 1.x package or tag.
Third-party components
Memoria depends on packages that carry their own licences. Those licences are unaffected by this file and apply to those packages as their authors published them.
