MTS.DBMigrator.Abstractions

Contracts and base classes for versioned SQL migrations. Targets .NET Standard 2.1; SQL Server execution is supplied separately by MTS.DBMigrator.SQLServer.

Define a migration

Migration class names use numeric components separated by underscores. The base class derives the script ID, version, ordering value, and script hash from the class and SQL. CanExecute and CanRunScriptInAssembly can be overridden to control execution.

Set the context's Assembly to the consumer assembly and its ConnectionString before execution. The default assembly-version check limits which migration versions can run. IMigrator and AbstractMigrator<TContext> expose execution and status; ISQLServerExecutor abstracts SQL execution.
