ConvertMyImage (CMI)
ConvertMyImage (CMI) is a free and open source C# utility that allows you to convert your media formats! (e.g. png to jpeg or mp4 to mp3) πΌοΈποΈ
Windows works well with this CLI, but I'm not sure about Linux and MacOS, so if you have such Linux or MacOS, check this CLI and open an issue if you have errors
β¨ Features
- β‘ Very fast: Converts popular formats (PNG, JPEG, WEBP) in milliseconds!
- π οΈ Easy to use: You can easily convert different images just by one command!
- π¦ Converts (almost) anything:: You can convert images, auidos, videos and other formats just by one command!
-o- Change the folder of the converted file(s)--force- Disables rewrite permissioninfo "FULL path to the file"- Shows the info of an file (its name, format and size)-v- Shows the version of the utilityconvert-all- Lets convert all files in one folder to one format--limit- (WORKS INconvert-allCOMMAND ONLY) - Limits the number of file conversions in a task
π» How to use
- Install .NET 10 or more
- Extract the archive
- Add the folder to PATH
- Run (example):
cmi convert png G:\image.webp

How it works
cmi convert [a format you want to convert to] [FULL path to the image file]
πΊοΈ Roadmap
- β v1.0 - Project's Release
- β v1.1 - Add support of Magick NET so you can convert more formats (since 1.3 changed to NetVips)
- β v1.2 - Add support of FFmpeg so you can convert videos
- β v1.3 - Add convert-all command so you can convert all files in one folder to one format < (WE'RE HERE NOW!!!)
- β¬ v1.4 - Add Windows integration (highly unlikely to happen!!!)
- β¬ Add Linux and MacOS support (not sure about this one, but I'll try to do this!)
